Workplace accident benefit
Sodra benefit after a workplace injury, commuting accident or occupational disease: 100% of compensable wage from day 1 of incapacity, or DLV-based compensation.
Начать заявление →Workplace accident benefit is paid by Sodra (the State Social Insurance Fund Board) when an injury at work, an accident on the way to or from work, or an occupational disease makes you temporarily or permanently unable to work. You apply to Sodra; its <a href="https://www.sodra.lt/lt/situacijos/informacija-gyventojams/nelaimingo-atsitikimo-darbe-isvengiu">official information</a> covers the NDA sickness benefit, one-off compensation, periodic loss-of-working-capacity compensation, and funeral compensation routes. For temporary incapacity, Sodra pays from the first day, generally 100% of compensable earnings; your determined loss-of-working-capacity percentage (DLV) decides whether the one-off or periodic compensation route applies.

Workplace accident benefit is available if:
- The incident is recognised as an accident at work, an accident on the way to/from work, or an occupational disease (N-1/N-2 act or disease documents)
- On the incident date you were covered by workplace-accident social insurance and employed by the stated employer
- A doctor issued an e-incapacity certificate if you claim the sickness-benefit branch for temporary incapacity
- You provide Sodra the N-1/N-2 act number and date, employer details, incident date/location and injury facts
- For one-off compensation, DLV is <30%; for periodic compensation, DLV is ≥30%; funeral compensation applies after death caused by work
- There is no age, income or minimum contribution-month threshold; you are not receiving another Sodra/foreign compensation for the same period
