The benefit is 100% of compensable wage. It is paid by Sodra; the application can be submitted via the Sodra self-service portal.
Eligibility
Paternity benefit is available if:
- You are the child's father in civil law (birth certificate)
- You are insured with Sodra
- In the 24 months before the child's birth you had ≥12 months of Sodra contributions
- The leave is taken in the first 3 months of the child's life
- You submit the application to Sodra within 12 months of the leave
