Student social stipend
Social grant of €156/month paid by the State Studies Foundation (VSF) to students from low-income backgrounds.
Start application →The student social grant is monthly support of €156 for students from families in difficult circumstances. It is awarded by the State Studies Foundation (VSF), with applications submitted via the VSF online system. It is not the same as an academic grant — academic grants are awarded for study results, this one is awarded based on the family's financial situation. It is paid for 5 months per semester (autumn or spring); a new application is required for each semester. It can be combined with academic grants, loans and work (provided that work does not interfere with studies).
