Cash social assistance
Monthly cash support for low-income families and people living alone when income per member is below 1.5 VRP.
Start application →The social allowance is state cash support under the Law on Cash Social Assistance for Low-Income Residents. It is paid by each municipality through the Social Support Information System (SPIS). The allowance is monthly and is granted for up to 6 months, after which the application must be renewed. The usual amount is the difference between 1.5 VRP (state-supported income) and the family's actual income per member — meaning that those who earn less receive more. For most low-income families this support can be €70–200 per month.
